Glueck’s time of 19 minutes, 23 seconds was fifth overall — fourth among scoring runners — out of nearly 200 runners from throughout New England, helping the Marauders place second to Maine’s Greely High in the Manchester Invite’s small-school race.
Glueck’s was the fourth fastest among scoring runners and second-fastest time by a New Hampshire athlete, behind only Windham High senior Susie Poore (third; 19:11).
“Lucy is very consistent and finds the joy in running,” Hanover coach Eric Picconi said. “She’s a real competitor, wants to chase down everyone that’s in front of her. She does a really good job setting the pace for us.”
Hanover was also led by Leila Trummel (10th; 20:22), Elsa Nordstrom (13th; 20:35), Sadie Lingelbach-Pierce (30th; 21:15) and Kirsten Miller (51st; 21:58).
“It was a strong performance overall; a number of girls improved their times by a minute or more compared to recent meets,” Picconi noted. “I’m hoping that kind of consistency will build into October, which is championship season.”
Oxbow’s Izzy Giesing placed eighth among scoring runners, finishing in 20:02. Sister Hannah Giesing placed 33rd in 21:24, Leanne Burgess was 81st in 22:56 and Cassidy Pryer was 112th in 24:17 and Emily Carson was 134th in 25:22 for the Olympians, which placed 11th.
For 18th-place Thetford, Meaggie Balch led the way with a 15th-place time of 20:42. Eleanor Koppers (104th; 23:57), Morgan Lavoy (111th; 24:17), Hannah Schwarz (135th; 25:26) and Maggie Harlow (150th; 26:30) also scored for the Panthers,
Lebanon’s girls were 21st, led by Grace Furlong (39th; 21:36). Maria Goodwin (106th; 24:05), Annabelle Stott (131st; 25:17), Brianna Hibner 153rd; 26:52) and Alexandra Brandt (160th; 27:19) followed for the Raiders.
On the boys side, Hanover placed 14th, Lebanon 18th and Oxbow 25th.
Morgan Baughman (65th; 18:09), Henry Mackall (69th; 18:13), Joseph Jacobs (91st; 18:48), Jack Lynch (92nd; 18:48) and Gregory Phillips (99th; 18:56) led the way for the Marauders.
Raphael Harriman (31st; 17:39) led the way for the Raiders, followed by Jake Willeman (51st; 17:55), Edward Bieszczad (83rd; 18:40), Cody Davis (135th; 19:36) and Noah McIntire (fifth; 19:58).
For Thetford, Malcolm Silver-Van Meter was 17th in 17:12, Daniel Wojcik placed 204th in 21:16 and Eli Kaliski was 206th in 21:54. The Panther boys did not field enough runners (minimum five) for a team score.

“We did have some positive takeaways from today’s game,” said Mascoma coach Les Lawrence, whose squad continues to be beset by injuries.
“Last week (a loss to Monadnock) we finished with negative yardage and no first downs. Today, we moved the ball a little bit and competed better. Our running backs ran really hard and we completed a few passes. Defensively, we still need to do a better job doing the things we’re supposed to do, buit we did tackle better today.”
Brattleboro, Vt.
Pat McGlone scored three minutes in for an early 1-0 Hartford lead, but Brattleboro rallied to net three tallies inside of 20 minutes before halftime.
Alex St. Martin scored for Hartford with four minutes left to make it closer.
Woodstock
Emilio Montano, Patrick Bald and Collin Campbell scored for Woodstock, with Bald and Cody Carnehammer registering assists.
Senior Hartley Walker-Money played a strong game at midfield, Wasps coach Tom Avellino said, while goalies Steve Bianchi (first half; two saves) and Oliver Wilson (three) split time in Woodstock’s net.
Bradford, Vt.
Oxbow hosts Danville on Wednesday.

Krista Townsend made nine saves for Whitchester, which hosts South Royalton in Rochester on Tuesday.
Stowe, Vt.
Danielle Robinson made seven saves to earned the shutout, Thetford’s fifth of the year.
The Panthers play the second of four straight on the road Tuesday at Randolph.
Springfield, Vt.
Belle Leister scored twice, Sarah Jones had a goal and an assist and Maddie Koff, Alice Dwyer and Abbie Robbins had one goal each for Hartford.
Morgan White notched a pair of assists and Ileana Sirois had one helper for the Canes.
White (first half; one save) and Kendyl Boisvert split time in net for Hartford, which allowed an own goal late in the game.
Woodstock
Lauren Forgione also scored for the Wasps, and Sadie Kuhn and Annabelle Lessard had assists.
Brittany Poljacik had 14 saves for Woodstock, which hosts Brattleboro on Tuesday.

“We played much better,” Woodstock coach Annie Doton said. “We were a different team top to bottom. Everyone played well.”
Loretta Blakeney assisted on both goals, the first to Mariah Luce in the first half and the second by Lily Doton in the second.

Monadnock struck first with about six minutes to play in the first half. Elizabeth Jones tied it 1:18 before halftime, assisted by Sarah Ruel.
