Claremont — The president of River Valley Community College is moving on to a new position at a college in Texas.
Alicia Harvey-Smith, who has been president of the college with a main campus in Claremont for three years, will become executive vice chancellor at Lone Star College in Houston this fall, New Hampshire college officials announced today.
Harvey-Smith’s tenure at River Valley included acquiring and expanding into the former Lebanon College building on the pedestrian mall in downtown Lebanon.
