West Lebanon, N.H. — Ronald James Lower, 81, passed away in the comfort of his home Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016. He was born in Lebanon to the late Henry E. & Angelina B. (Stone) Lower. Ron grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School, Class of 1952. He had attended Sacred Heart Church and was a police officer in both Lebanon & Hampton. He managed Rich’s Department store for many years as well. Ron was a past Exalted Ruler of the Lebanon Elks Lodge Post 2099 and a past member of The American Legion Post 22. He enjoyed games and communicating with people through Facebook. Ron’s father died as a young man and was raised by his stepfather, Harry Stone.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Lower of West Lebanon and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at the Vermont veterans Cemetery in Randolph, Vt. on Aug. 23, 2016 at 11 a.m.
