It wasn’t exactly We Are the World, but a group of celebrities — some more recognizable than Scott Baio and some less — got together and did a slightly cheesy a cappella rendition of the pop ditty Fight Song for Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Among the group was recent Democratic Convention host Elizabeth Banks, who might have spearheaded the effort. After all, she directed the musical comedy Pitch Perfect 2, and quite a few of the comedy’s stars showed up to sing, including her onscreen sidekick John Michael Higgins, plus Ester Dean, Kelly Jakle, Ben Platt and Hana Mae Lee.
