The Hanover Consumer Cooperative Society has named a new general manager.
Edward W. Fox, of Montpelier, will succeed Terry Appleby, who has led the Co-op for 24 years. Fox currently works as vice president of operations for the Boston-based nonprofit Cradles to Crayons and previously worked for 10 years as chief operations officer for the Vermont Foodbank.
Fox begins Sept. 6, according to a news release distributed this afternoon.
