White River Junction — A two-alarm fire heavily damaged a two-unit apartment building on Crystal Place.
Residents were inside at the time of the fire and made it out safely. Several Upper Valley fire departments worked to extinguish the flames in the building, which is off Route 5 south of Hartford High School.
The Hartford fire chief said the fire, which burned for more than 2 hours, was under control around 5 p.m.
