Marianna, Fla. — Nancy Ann Esson Dennis, 83 of Marianna passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, June 12, 2016.
Nancy was born on Aug. 31, 1932 in Manchester, N.H. to William Alexander Esson and Isabelle Louise [Lyon] Esson. She grew up in Nashua and graduated from Nashua High School in 1950. She attended Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing prior to her marriage in 1952 to David Emerson Dennis. They began their life together in Shelburne Falls, Mass. before moving to Lyme, N.H. where they raised their four children.
She was predeceased by her parents and half brother William Alexander Esson.
She is survived by her children, Dierdre, David (Karen), Douglas (Joyce), and Dwight (Donna)Dennis; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her first husband, David Emerson Dennis and her sister-in-law, Virginia Esson.
Per her wishes there will be no calling hours. A final scattering of ashes will take place later in the summer with the immediate family in attendance.
