James C. Tibbits

Enfield Center, N.H. — James C. Tibbits, 74, passed away Monday May 16, 2016. He was born in Hanover, N.H. to Forrest “Gene” & Ethel (Stone) Tibbits on Feb. 25, 1942. Jim has worked for various companies in the Upper valley over the years and was a member of the SAL (Sons of American Legion).

Jim was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Carroll Miller Tibbits, a brother, Richard Tibbits and a daughter, Peggy Carroll McPhee. He is survived by his Siblings, Delmer Tibbits of Albuquerque, N.M., William Tibbits of Canaan, N.H., Harry Tibbits of Enfield Center, Carol Moodie of Plainfield, N.H., Paul Tibbits of Plainfield, Marie”Sharon Tibbits” Wolfson of Canaan, Thomas Tibbits of Lebanon, N.H.; his children, Leland Tibbits and wife, Terri Templeton of Windsor, Vt., David Carroll and wife, Cheryl of Lebanon, Lloyd Carroll of Lebanon, James H. Tibbits of Rutland, Vt., Lisa Tibbits Lear of Lebanon, Bobby Joe Tibbits of Enfield Center, Scott Tibbits of Enfield Center, Roger Carroll and wife, Janice of Nashua, N.H.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on June 25, 2016, from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Leland’s home in Windsor, Vt.
