New London, N.H. — Frances G. (Torcivia) Consentino, 98, died Saturday, April 23, 2016, at The Clough Center in New London where she had been a resident for the past six years. She was born in New York City, N.Y. on Dec. 24, 1917, the daughter of Salvatore and Maria (Campagna) Torcivia.

She had resided in many different states before moving to N.H. in 2006 including N.Y., Pa., N.J., Ga., N.M., Texas and Colo. During WWII, Franny worked for Flint Mfg. Co. in Edgewater, N.J. Her husband owned a butcher shop and she was the cashier and accounts manager. She was also employed by Amerace Rubber Co. in Butler, N.J.

She was a real family person, loved children and served as a nanny. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church in New London. Franny liked to cook, work with ceramics, knit and garden.

Her husband, Anthony L. Consentino, died in 1984. She is also predeceased by siblings, Tom, Ben, Joe, Josephine, Diane, Rose Costanza and Angie Maugeri. She is survived by a son and his wife, Anthony and Bert Consentino of New London; a daughter, Maria P. Consentino of Littleton, Colo.; three granddaughters, Brenda, Jill and Allison; and a great-grandson, Timothy Stephan.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 11 a.m. in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, N.J.
