While photographing the Critter’s Crusade 5k in Hartford last weekend, I came across several chickens scratching on and around the walking path. While waiting for runners to pass through, Darcy Terino, left, with her puppy Helena, and Ashlie Dubois with her son Leo stopped to see the birds. The photo wasn’t suitable for the story on the charity event, but was certainly worth sharing here.
