White River Junction, Vt. — Marilyn Aiken White passed from the living to the eternal peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, with family in loving presence.

The White family expresses its deepest gratitude for the dedicated and loving staff of Valley Terrace during Marilyn’s residence in the community.

Marilyn’s connection to the Upper Valley is through the family camp in Thetford called Campanoosuc perched above the Ompompanoosuc River. A lifetime of outdoor adventures gave her an indomitable spirit with her siblings, at Middlebury College, and later in life as a teacher, wife, mother, and grandmother.  

For 60 years her love was Robert White, musician and teacher and partner in all things in life. Bob will always remember her with tenderness and adoration as he continues to reside at Valley Terrace. 

A service of remembrance will be held at Valley Terrace on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 2 p.m.
