Judge Increases Driver’s Bail in Croydon Crash That Killed Two

Two people were killed and a Sharon, Vt., woman faces aggravated driving while intoxicated and negligent homicide charges following a head-on car crash on Route 10 in Croydon, N.H., late Friday night, Sept. 22, 2017. New Hampshire State Police said Kristine Lake, 22, of Sharon, Vt., was driving north on Route 10 when her car drifted into the southbound lane and collided with a car that was being driven by Michelle J. Fenimore, 20, of Brownington, Vt. Nicholas Carpenter, 18, of Coventry, Vt., was a passenger in Fenimore’s car. Fenimore and Carpenter died at the scene, police said. Lake suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said, and faces two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated and negligent homicide. (Valley News — Jordan Cuddemi)
