Co-Working Space Aims to Boost Downtown Bradford

The Hartford Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to act as elves during the Hartford Polar Express event, scheduled for Dec. 9 and 10, 2017.
The annual event draws about 3,000 visitors for a one-hour train ride from the White River Junction station to the Norwich station, which is transformed into the North Pole. There, children are greeted by volunteer elves before listening to the story The Polar Express and meeting Santa Claus. Volunteers can register at www.hartfordrec.com.
