WEST LEBANON — Drivers are being warned to expect very long delays as construction continues on South Main Street, aka Route 12A, in West Lebanon.
For the next three weeks, one-way traffic will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday between Waterman Avenue and 67 S. Main St., which is located just north of Romano Circle.
Crews are currently working to install retaining walls and will soon start building sidewalks and curbing along the roadway, according to an email notice from the city.
Grading is expected to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 28, and paving could begin two days later, weather permitting.
“Again, expect long delays due to the type of work being performed,” the notice said. “Please allow additional time for travel.”
Numerous motorists reported being stuck in traffic on Wednesday as they drove through West Lebanon.
