HANOVER — The Hanover Conservancy will celebrate its 60th anniversary on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Rivercrest Field.

Parking is available at 71 Lyme Road. People will share stories about the organization and its founding, as well as give out awards.

The organization was founded in 1961 by Bob Norman, Carolyn Tenney, Jean Hennessey, George Wrightson, and Ted Hunter in response to a townwide zoning ordinance that did not take into account land preservation.
