Hartford — Transportation officials plan to close the Hartford Village Bridge, which carries VA Cutoff Road over the White River, for four days next week as crews repair bridge joints that have failed and currently have a temporary patch.

The bridge will be closed at 8 a.m. on Monday and will remain completely closed until work is complete, according to a notice from the town, which warned that the bridge will not reopen to traffic at night.
