GRANTHAM, NH — Victor (Vic) Ferland, 59, of Grantham, NH passed away peacefully at home Thursday, January 16th.

He was born on January 5th, 1961 in Newport, VT and attended Stevens High School. Vic was a skilled finish carpenter who perfected his craft for nearly 25 years working for himself, and Skyline Design. Vic was passionate about music, playing drums in numerous bands since the age of 12. He was a fan of racing, football, and family game nights. Vic enjoyed family camping trips and going for long rides on his Harley. Vic was always there for his friends and family when a helping hand was needed.

Vic was a family man and a great friend. He is survived by his former wife, Sandi Hastings Ferland and kids, Crystal Tarr, Nichole Hastings, Justin Hastings and his wife Naomi, and Daniel Ferland. He is also survived by his siblings: Simone Drainville, Christine Gibbs, Edmond Ferland, and Terry Ferland. He is survived by many loving grandchildren: Joe Tarr and his fiancee Cecelia Arrison, Tapanga Corcoran and her husband Ben, Felicity Tarr, Elizabeth Hastings, Brianna Hastings, and Caitlin Hastings. Vic comes from a large family, leaving behind many cousins.

Vic was predeceased by his parents, Alice Ferland and Henry Ferland, and his son, Mathew Ferland.
