Budgets and spending articles: Voters will be asked to approve a $13,316,038 operating budget for the 2022-2023 fiscal year. They will also be asked to approve an additional $120,000 to repair the Rivendell Academy roof and $100,000 to purchase and install generators at each school in the district.
When, where and how to vote: All votes will be by Australian ballot. Ballots will be mailed to all voters. Ballots may be returned by mail or dropped at the Town Office in drop boxes or in-person during the town clerk’s regular hours. They must be received by 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. Polls will also be open for same-day voter registration and in-person voting between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on March 15 at Rivendell Academy. There will be a virtual informational meeting on March 8 at 6:30 p.m.
