Darryl G. Murrey

Lebanon, N.H. — Darryl G. Murrey, 63, formerly of Hanover, N.H., passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018. He was born in Barberton, Ohio to the late Paul & Joan (Freeman) Murrey. He graduated from Norton High School, class of 1973, Shenandoah University of Music, class of 1985 and received his master’s Degree from Frostburg State University class of 2002. Darryl loved music and his family. He was also a Cleveland Brown’s fan.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and Eagles Club. He cherished his time with the Easy Street Band of Norton, Ohio and all their dinners at the Diamond Grill.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Murrey of Lebanon; a daughter, Sarah Smith of Queens, N.Y.; and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his son, Seth Murrey and a brother, David L. Murrey.

Family and friends are invited to Darryl’s funeral at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at 1 p.m., Darryl’s burial will follow in the Pine Knolls Cemetery in Hanover, N.H.

In lieu of flowers it is suggested to make memorial donations to The American Diabetes Association, P.O Box 15829 Arlington, VA 22215.
