Pomfret, Vt. — Dorothy (Dorsi) Raynolds, 54, of Pomfret, died peacefully Monday, April 16, 2018, after a long illness. She retired in February from a 32-year career as a Swim Coach, the last 10 years at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC).

She is survived by her parents, Ann and Harold (Ron) Raynolds; her sister Madeline; her brother Christopher and his wife Sharen, her brother Timothy Raynolds and his wife Bernadette; also four nephews, Max, Tyler, Evan and Dylan who loved her beyond measure, as we all still do.

Services will be private within the family, and a scholarship fund will be created with UVAC to support children’s swimming lessons and participation. It will be known as the Dorsi Fund; and opportunities will be available for contributions.
