Hartford
Tyler Montgomery officiated at the private ceremony where the couple shared jointly written vows.
The bride is the daughter of Ramona Maria O’Brien White and Jonathan Andrew White, of the Village of Wilder in Hartford. She graduated from Hartford High School in 2011 and earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 2015 from the University of Vermont. She is employed as solar community organizer and outreach team trainer at SunCommon in Waterbury, Vt. She also has been a member of the Hartford Selectboard since 2015.
The bridegroom is the son of Elizabeth Jane McKinstry and Jonathan Snow Streeter, of Norwich, and James Herbert Kreis, of Perkinsville. He graduated from The Putney School in Putney, Vt., in 1998 and earned a bachelor’s degree in forestry and environmental management from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada in 2006. He also earned a graduate degree in sustainable development from the S.I.T. Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vt., 2008. He is superintendent of parks and facilities for the town of Hartford.
Following the private ceremony in March, the couple took the train and spent a week in Washington, D.C. They are planning a commitment ceremony for family, friends and their faith community in the future.
