Special Needs Center Has New Executive Director

Lebanon — Laura Perez, of Bethel, has been named the new executive director of the Special Needs Support Center in Lebanon, which provides programming and resources to support children with special needs and their families throughout the Upper Valley.

Perez has more than 15 years of experience in community wellness efforts through organization and program development including fundraising, education and outreach.  She has studied the politics of poverty and community education as a force for social change, and recently graduated from Norwich University with a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on strategic organizational leadership.

Perez previously served as community relations manager at Stagecoach Transportation Services, which works to provide access to transportation for rural residents.
