Bethel
In the second of a two-year project, the Vermont Agency of Transportation anticipates removing the existing pavement; grading and reshaping the road, and applying three layers of pavement to the section of road between GW Plastics in Bethel and Shaw’s supermarket in Randolph, according to the release.
Crews will also be installing guardrails, cleaning and reshaping ditches and installing rumble strips.
During construction, areas where the speed limit is 50 miles per hour now will be posted at 40 mph.
The work will take place during daytime hours — perhaps including Saturdays — and is scheduled to be completed in August.
Those with questions about the project are asked to contact Francine Perkins, the project’s outreach coordinator, at (802) 479-6994.
Information about the project will be posted at www.roadworkupdates.com.
