Enfield, N.H. — Evette I. (Dube) LaBounty, 97, passed away Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017, in the comfort of her home. She was born in Canada on Oct. 8, 1920, one of 10 children, five boys and five girls. She was married to Donald LaBounty on Dec. 24,1942, and had been living in Enfield since Dec. 16, 1977. Evette passed on what would have been their 75th wedding anniversary. She dearly loved her great grand babies, yard sales, crocheting, quilting, knitting, flowers and playing the card game Skip-Bo.

She is survived by her children, a daughter, Ilene E. LaBounty of Holiday, Fla., and a son, ClIfford J. LaBounty of Kamuela, Hawaii; a sister, Toni McAllister of Montana; five grandchildren, Angela Staenglen, Michael Ledoux, Bethany Ledoux, Chelsea Ledoux and Michelle LaBounty; 12 great-grandchildren, Jenna Freitag, Corbin Hauser, Conner Hauser, Mercedes Ledoux, Rebecca Ledoux, Mckenzie Ledoux, Hunter Ledoux, Preslee Ledoux, Rayden Ledoux Leah Cote, Harmony Russell and Ella.

Evette was predeceased by her husband, Donald on March 9, 2014. Also by eight of her siblings.

Evette’s family wishes to thank the VNA & Hospice, Meals on Wheels and Dr. David Beaufait for their loving care of Evette.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services for Evette. She will be interred at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery with her husband at the convenience of the family.
