VERSHIRE — Voters will be asked to approve a $308,018 municipal budget along with a $413,833 highway budget during this year’s Town Meeting.
Last year, voters approved a $297,600 municipal budget and $344,040 highway budget. If passed, spending will rise by $80,211 for fiscal year 2021. The budget for Vershire Fire and Rescue remains stable at $33,728.
Selectman Marc McKee is running unopposed for a three-year term on the Selectboard.
Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 3, at 10 a.m. at the Town Center. Voting by Australian ballot that day will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
