Livingston, who turns 65 later this month, made the announcement in an email to the school community today.
“I have been blessed, beyond measure, to have had an opportunity to work with all of you. I am staggered, on a regular basis, when I consider the number of circumstances that came together simultaneously to guide me to TSA,” wrote Livingston, who has worked at the independent school for 19 years, starting as a humanities teacher and assistant head of school.
He said in his email that the TSA Board of Trustees is in the process of creating a transition team to pick his successor for when he departs in June 2020 and that “it will have broad representation.”
