The menโ€™s and womenโ€™s track and field teams competed in the Ivy League Outdoor Championships over the weekend in Princeton, N.J. Both squads finishing seventh overall but had some standout individual performances.ย 

For the Big Green Andie Murray won the womenโ€™s 800-meter (2:04.23).ย 

Jada Jones, Veronika ลœรญmovรก, Rebeka ลฝibritovรก, and Schweitzer set a program record in the 4-by-400 (3:38.01) and finished third.

Jones also won silver in the 200m (23.59).ย 

Other finishes from Dartmouth include J’Voughnn Blake finishing second in the menโ€™s 800-meter and breaking a school record in the process with a time of 1:47.09, while Jack Inglis was a silver medalist in the decathlon.ย 

Additionally, Mariella Schweitzer set a new program record in the long jump (6.28m).ย 

Liam Murray, Jack Rousseau, Winston Morgan, and Blake finished fourth in the 4-by-400 with a program record time of 3:08.43.

Jack Tan cleared the 4.98m mark in the pole vault, which was good for third place.

Also, Max Klein was third in the shot put (18.25m).ย 

Womenโ€™s rowing fourth at Ivy League Championship

The Big Green rowed their way to fourth place at the Ivy League Championship in Pennsauken, N.J., which wrapped up on Sunday. They also earned two medals during the event. 

Dartmouth got bronze in the 2V4 (7:16.424) and silver in the 3V4 (7:26.285).

Lightweight rowing puts in work at Eastern Sprints 

At the event on Sunday in Worcester, Mass., the Big Green secured multiple podium finishes. Dartmouth was on the podium in the 2V second heat (third, 5:56.67), V8 first heat (third, 5:50.26), V8 grand final (third, 5:51.83), and the V4 (third, 7:15.71). 

Up next for Dartmouth is the IRA National Championship, which begins on May 29 in Sacramento, Calif.

Heavyweight rowing to compete at nationals in Calif.ย 

The Big Greenโ€™s Heavyweight rowing squad was also in Worcester, Mass, on Sunday and had some solid performances. Dartmouth had good finishes in the 3V third heat (first, 5:50.08), 2V heat (second, 5:44.45), and V8 heat (first, 5:41.85). 

The Big Green also got on the podium in the 4V grand final (second, 6:00.87) and 5V grand final (second, 6:13.84). 

Heavyweight rowing will also compete at the IRA National Championship in Sacramento, Calif.

Set to begin on May 29. 

Women’s lacrosseโ€™s Kendall picks up more accoladesย 

The senior, who set an Ivy League record for career draw controls this season and finished with 461, was named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Associationโ€™s First-Team All-Northeast regional squad. Additionally, Kendall was named a Second-Team All-American by Inside Lacrosse. 

Baseball athletes get Ivy nods 

Reliever Mac Burke, who had an ERA of 2.19 and had 34 strikeouts, was named First Team All-Ivy. 

Starter Nate Isler, who threw the most innings in the conference (65) and put up 80 strikeouts, catcher A.J. DeMastrie, who led the team in batting average (.266), and pitcher Nate Kugler, who tied for the team-high in shutouts (3), were all honorable mentions. 

Infielder Milo Suarez was named Academic All-Ivy after a season in which he led the Big Green in home runs (4), RBIs (20), and doubles (11).
