The Community College of Vermont has launched a project management certificate program, which will begin this fall, according to a CCV news release. Students can complete the 24-credit program online in one year. “This certificate program provides students with an immersive understanding of the practices and skills needed to succeed in an entry-level project management role,” according to a description on CCV’s website. “Students will learn how to create effective project documentation and artifacts throughout the various phases of a project, and practice strategic communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management through real-world scenarios.” For more information, visit ccv.edu/academics/programs/business.
Colby-Sawyer College has established a new scholarship fund to support students pursuing accelerated bachelor of science degrees in nursing, according to a news release from the New London-based college. Students enrolled in the 16-month program ” who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need” can receive scholarships of up to $10,000 from Helene Fuld Health Trust Endowed Scholarship Fund for Nursing.
