RIVERVIEW, FL — Elisabeth Obry Henneberger, 87 died on April 1, 2021 in Riverview, FL. Born on January 31, 1934 in Weilerbach, Germany, she immigrated to the US in 1957 together with her husband and infant son. They spent 10 years in the NYC area. In 1967, her beloved husband, Henry of 66 years, moved them to New Hampshire and later to Norwich, VT where they had their primary residence for 53 years. Elisabeth was an avid gardener belonging to the local garden club as well as donating her time by giving back to the community. Elisabeth spent the winter months in Boca Grande with her husband Henry, as members of the Boca Grande Club. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry, in 2020 and their son, Roland, in 2010. Elisabeth is survived by grandsons, Ian and Luke; her siblings, Marianna Becker, Bernhard Obry and Norbet Obry; several nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law, Louisa and several sisters in law. At Elisabeth’s request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Denis Catholic Church in Hanover, N.H, at a later time to be announced.
