LOVELAND, CO — Clayton Ronald Belyea, 36, passed away suddenly on July 26, 2019. He was born in Woodsville, NH to Jay and Marcia (Spencer) Belyea on November 27, 1982.
He is survived by his sons, Mathieu, Jay, Bode and Mason and his fiance’ Carissa Ernst, all of which he truly loved with all of his heart; his parents, Jay & Judy Belyea of Orford, NH and Marcia Belyea of Randall, KS; his brother, Joshua Belyea and children of West Fairlee, VT; his Maternal grandparents, Edward “Butch” & Marie Spencer of Warren, NH; his aunts, Elaine Ball and husband Jim [Elaine holds a special part of Clayton’s heart as she was not just his aunt but also his second mother] and Laurie-Anne Foley and husband Ed; his uncles, Michael Spencer, Craig Belyea, Roy and Eileen Belyea, Jeff and Betty Belyea; and several cousins, in Colorado, Maine, North Carolina and New Hampshire.
Clayton was predeceased by his cousin, Kevin Ball, his grandparents, Ronald “Babe” Belyea and Jane Belyea and Hugh and Evelyn Spencer.
Clayton was self-employed creating custom designed diesel systems that are in the US, Canada and the Netherlands. It was with great pride that he built these systems that are raced in specialized circuits across the world. Clayton truly struggled with his life daily and worked hard to overcome is pain, masking his pain with a great smile of which we will all remember. He took such pride in building his own “Belyea” Turbo.
Calling hours will be on Monday, August 5, from 6 to 8 PM at Ricker Funeral home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH.
A celebration of Clayton’s life will be on Tuesday, August 6, at 11 AM, at the First Congregation Church of Haverhill, UCC.
Burial will follow at the Warren Village Cemetery and a reception to follow at the Warren Town Hall.
