Bedford, N.H. —
He was born in Lebanon, N.H. on June 23, 1933, to Willis H. LaBombard and Norma E. (Sanborn).
A long-time resident of Etna he was employed by Hilcrest Motors, Miller Automobile, M and M Equipment and in his later years at Dartmouth College as a Security Officer. He spent his free time working on his many vehicles and was a member of the Granite State Chapter of the Antique Truck Club. He loved animals of all types and fed the wildlife that came to his home in Etna. Willis and his wife Ruth loved to travel and see new places and meet people especially in New England.
Family members include a granddaughter, Lynn LaFountain of Haverhill, Mass.; a grandson, Jay LaFountain of Coldwater, Mich.; and six great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, Richard LaFountain.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Carol (Braman) LaBombard; and his daughter, Donna Carol (LaBombard) LaFountain.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. at the Hanover Center Cemetery.
