THETFORD, VT — David Williams, 73, died on November 29, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born on January 11, 1947 in Queens, NY.
David graduated in 1964 from Woodstock High School, Woodstock, VT. He met Kathy McQueen, that same year before his family moved to Tucson, AZ where he lived for more than 50 years. During that time, he and Kathy corresponded regularly. David worked for the State of Arizona licensing residential clinics for recovering substance abusers.
David was previously married and leaves four sons: Zachary Prather MD of AZ, Guy Prather of MA, Ivor Williams of ME and Levi Williams of AZ and wife Kathy. David reconnected after 52 years with Kathy, his high school sweetheart and they married on November 8, 2015.
Memorial services will be held at the family’s convenience.
