SOUTH ROYALTON, VT — Randolph “Randy” Lorette died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Jack Byrne Center at DHMC.

He was born August 25, 1962, in Peterborough, NH, the son of James and Dorothy (Muncil) Lorette. He was raised in the Peterborough area and attended Conval High School. He served 4 years in the US Army Reserves and lived in Saranac Lake, NY, for several years after high school.

He married Sherri Fowler on May 16, 1987 and had three sons, Eric, Emmett and Aaron. He lived in South Royalton and worked as a self-employed carpenter and was an excellent builder learning many skills along the way including building post and beam barns and homes. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and just being in the woods.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Sherri Lorette of Sharon, VT; sons, Eric of South Royalton, Emmett and Aaron of Sharon; his granddaughters, Paisley and Aubrey; his parents of Saranac Lake, NY; his brothers Jay and Steve; his sister, Michelle Fenton and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at Boardway and Cilley Funeral Home in Chelsea, Vt. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 1 PM at the United Church of South Royalton.
