White River Junction — The Vermont Governor’s Marijuana Advisory Commission is set to visit White River Junction next month as part of a listening tour as it prepares to submit recommendations to Gov. Phil Scott.

The listening tour, which also will include stops in Rutland, Williston, St. Johnsbury and Bennington, offers Vermonters the chance to provide feedback to the commission on the marijuana-related topics of roadway safety; education and prevention; and taxation and regulation. The sessions will be moderated by commission co-chairmen Jake Perkinson and Tom Little.

The White River Junction stop is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 at the National Guard Armory at 240 Main St.

The commission’s draft reports may be viewed online at marijuanacommission.vermont.gov/commissiondocuments.

The commission is set to present its final recommendations to Scott by Dec. 15.
