Claremont, N.H. — Shirley Ann (Grenier) Lemieux, 68, of Maria Street in Claremont, N.H. died at her home on Tuesday, July 12 2016 in the arms of her loving husband of fifty years. She was born in Claremont, N.H. on Feb. 15, 1948, graduated St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1966, married the love her life on Dec. 17, 1966 and was a lifetime resident. Customer service was a passion she demonstrated daily in the positions held through the years at Sturm Ruger and Dartmouth Hitchcock Connection Center.

 She was an exceptionally talented seamstress and quilter, making many heirloom items for family and friends throughout her life. She is predeceased by her parents, Andre and Emelia (Vachon) Grenier and infant sister, Andrea. As a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be remembered by her husband Thaddee (Ted) Lemieux; children: Thaddee Lemieux, Kristin Borntrager, and Traci Kiniry; nine grandchildren: Zachary, Kaitlin, Lisa, Jade, Kelsey, Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, and Adam; five great-grandchildren: Emily, Wyatt, Dean, Aubrey and Kellan; sisters: Jeanine Grenier, Susan Kolenda, and Doreen Lathrop; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Shirley’s never-ending care for others, determination, infectious smile, and beautiful spirit will be missed by all who knew her.

There will be no visiting hours. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 16 at St. Mary’s Church, with Rev. Shawn M. Therrien, pastor, officiating. Committal in St. Mary’s Cemetery with a celebration of life following at the Elk’s Club in Claremont, N.H.
