Newbury, N.H.
Members of the Lake Sunapee Public Boat Access Development Commission include Sunapee Selectboard member and Democratic state Rep. Sue Gottling and New London Selectboard member David Kidder, who is a former Republican state representative.
Both were appointed by their respective Selectboards, as was Nancy Marashio, of Newbury.
Other members include Newbury Town Administrator Dennis Pavlicek and Peter Stanely and Vahan Sarkisian, both of New London.
New Hampshire Senate President Chuck Morse appointed State Sen. Ruth Ward, R-Stoddard, whose district includes the three towns around the lake.
The commission also includes representatives of the departments of fish and game, environmental services and the New Hampshire Public Water Access Advisory Board.
The commission will begin meeting later this month.
Sununu created the commission by executive order in September.
Among the alternative locations that have been under consideration is the state beach in Newbury, a few miles north of the Wild Goose site.
Gottling said she has stated her support for improving the access at the state beach and was against Wild Goose.
