Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., with the last activity set for 2:15 p.m. The free event will include a panel discussion about how changes at the state and federal levels will likely affect watershed work. The panelists will be Julie Moore, secretary of the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources; David Mears and Pat Parenteau, of Vermont Law School; and a representative from U.S. Sen. Patrick Leahy’s office.
The event will also include workshops on fundraising, groundwater protection, water quality monitoring and stream crossing culvert replacements. Updates on clean water legislation and new initiatives at the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation are also planned.
