LEBANON, NH — Jane Henry, 81, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 following a six-month battle with ALS. She was born in Claremont, NH to Alton and Irene (Foisy) Adams. She grew up in Claremont and graduated from Stevens High School with the Class of 1957. Jane worked at Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Medical Records for a period of time and then later for P&C Grocery Store before retiring.

Jane was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon and enjoyed volunteering for many organizations. She enjoyed playing cribbage and mahjong often beating her opponent; her victory was sweetest when that opponent was her son-in-law. Jane dearly loved her children and grandchildren, supporting them at all their athletic events no matter the weather conditions.

Jane is survived by her former husband, Kenneth “Bud” Henry; two sons, Jeffrey Skywalker and Douglas (Cheri) Henry; daughter, Pamela (Glen) Valentine; four granddaughters, Elizabeth Henry, Amanda Henry, Nataleigh Henry, and Brittany Valentine; grandson, Cory Valentine; two great-granddaughters, Rebecca Griffin and Emily Sparks; three brothers, Frank (Maryjane) Adams, Dennis (Arlene) Adams, and Robert Adams; sister-in-law, Sandy Adams; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Alton Adams, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to Calling Hours for Jane at the Ricker Funeral Home & Crematory in Lebanon, NH on Sunday, September 27, 2020 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M on Monday, September 28, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon.
