GILFORD, N.H. — Lebanon High junior Cassidy Adams finished sixth in the slalom and took 10th in the giant slalom on Monday at the NHIAA Division III girls Alpine skiing championships.
Held at Gunstock Ski Resort, Adams clocked a time of 57.73 seconds in the two-run slalom and 1:20.34 in the GS.
Marin Pearson (1:09.47) and Ayla Pearson (1:11.95) placed 19th and 21st, respectively, in the slalom for Lebanon. Teammate Izzy Morse (1:16.18) cracked the top 30 in 27th.
Marin Pearson (1:29.62) also had a top-25 result in the GS, finishing 23rd.
The Lebanon boys get their crack at D-III Alpine states at Gunstock on Tuesday. The Hanover boys begin D-II states at Mount Cranmore on Tuesday, with the girls to follow on Wednesday at Crotched Mountain.

SUTTON, N.H. — Up only two points entering the fourth quarter, the Raiders held the hosts to four points in the final eight minutes to escape with a win.
Catherine Cole had 16 points, while Ella Longacre scored 12. Lebanon (5-0) trailed 21-20 at the break but outscored the Cougars 12-9 in the third quarter.
Sally Rainey dished in eight points for the Raiders, who host Keene on Wednesday.
LEBANON — Calvin Bates scored 12 points on his senior night as the Raiders held off a late Kearsarge surge.
They led by 10 points at the half and as much as 15 with over 90 seconds to play, but Kearsarge cut it to seven with less than a minute remaining.
Lebanon (5-0) also honored its two other seniors, Karsten Hansen and Logan Sanchez. The Raiders will visit Keene on Wednesday.
