WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — The White River Junction VA Medical Center is scheduled to hold an open house, town hall and toxic exposure screening clinic next month, according to a news release.

The event will include assistance with filing claims under the PACT Act, which was enacted last year and expanded VA benefits and health care for Vietnam, Gulf War and post 9/11-era veterans.

The event is set for Saturday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 163 Veterans Drive; it is walk-ins only and there are no appointments. The town hall at 11 a.m. will give veterans and their loved ones an opportunity to ask questions and hear facility updates.
