Haverhill, N.H. —
He was born in New York, N.Y., June 3, 1964, a son of John B. and Dorothy G. (Bernhardt) Dann. John grew up in Bloomfield, N.J., where he was a member of the Boy Scouts and went to Camp Hope and Camp Fatima, also in New Jersey. He lived for 20 years in Las Vegas, Nev., with his parents. In 2004, John and his mother moved in with his sister, Barbara. In 2007, they moved to Haverhill.
Johnny enjoyed dancing and blaring his music. He liked watching hockey and wrestling. The Three Stooges were his favorite comedians.
Survivors include his mother Dorothy G. Dann of Haverhill; two sisters, Barbara Dann of Haverhill and Joan Morris and husband Art of Newbury, Vt.; a brother, Bernard Dann and wife, Jerri of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his caregivers Amy and Lee Baker, and their family of Woodsville. He truly loved Amy and Lee Baker and their children.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, N.H.
