With the Vermont high school soccer season in the books, standout seniors from across the state have the opportunity to show off their talents again at the second edition of the Vermont Soccer Coaches Association’s Green & Gold Senior Classic, set for Sunday at Vermont State University—Castleton.

The event “celebrates the accomplishments of Vermont’s high school senior soccer players, bringing together selected athletes from across the state for a day of competition and recognition,” according to a news release.

Four matches will be played, and athletes will be organized by division and split into green and gold teams for boys and girls athletes, respectively.

Boys teams with a mix of Division III and IV players will battle one another, as will girls teams with a mix of Division III and IV players. The same format applies for the Division I and II teams.

Upper Valley athletes will be well represented at this weekend’s classic.
