Based on the experience of the last five Scott administrations, the problems facing the state are unlikely to be ameliorated. In particular, the areas of health care, housing, and education, which are certainly needing new approaches in an effort to begin to resolve the problems they have faced for several years, are unlikely to be addressed. And this is likely to be the case regardless of the composition of the state legislature as Scott wields his veto pen rather thoughtlessly.
