Paulette Shambo

Springfield, VT – Paulette Shambo, 11/05/1946 – 10/28/2026 – In loving memory of a beautiful soul.

A loving woman, a devoted heart to her family and her friends, words cannot express how much she meant to the people who were blessed to know her.

Paulette had a special way of making others feel cared for, welcomed and loved. She accepted many people into her life and everyone was considered family. Her kindness, compassion and generous spirit touched the lives of so many throughout her life. She made the world a little brighter for everyone around her.

Paulette had worked many careers in her life, from a Head Start Educator, chef, owning her own catering business and then later in life entering the manufacturing work place where she of course made many more friends she considered family.

Paulette created special bonds with people she had crossed paths with through her life journey, those bonds will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Her journey on this earth may have ended, but the love she planted in the hearts of others will never fade.

May she rest peacefully, she will never be forgotten, because a woman who loved and gave back so generously leaves a legacy and an example of how life should be lived.

Paulette’s’ husband, Edward Shambo passed away in 2020. She is survived by her children Edward Shambo Jr., David Shambo, Judi Gentes and Cathi Shambo. Her sisters Dora White and Jennie Perkins. Brother-in-law, Leslie Shambo and Melvin Shambo (wife Erlene). She has 4 grandchildren Matthew Gentes, Lucien Gentes, Jade Noga (Abigail, Hazel) and Edward Shambo III, (wife Jordan Shambo). She had many children in her life that called her “Gram” or “GiGi”, she was also survived by many nieces and nephews, who all loved her dearly.

We will have a Celebration of Life on November 14th at the Springfield Elks club from 1-4, please bring lots of stories to share.
