Support Monique Priestley for Vermont Senate

Orange County voters will choose between John Benson and Monique Priestley for Vermont State Senator on Nov. 3.

I hope you will join me in voting for Monique.

By all accounts, John is a good person. However, I’ve served with Monique for the past four years in the Vermont House of Representatives and worked closely with her on legislation to help get corporate money out of politics. She is an unusually effective representative. Monique is super smart, extremely knowledgeable about policy and the legislative process, and a tireless worker. I’m grateful that we have her in Montpelier.

Monique is vice chair of the Joint Information Technology Oversight Committee and in that role she’s worked hard to hold our state government accountable for how it spends taxpayer money on technology. She helped lead the passage of the Kids Code, Data Privacy, and Data Broker bills. We need Monique to keep moving forward on stronger data privacy bills, regulation on artificial intelligence, dynamic pricing, government data use, and more. She co-chairs the Future Caucus National Task Force on AI Policy and was named a national EPIC Champion of Freedom for her work protecting Vermonters’ data and privacy.

Monique is an accomplished leader and a true public servant.

Please help me send her to the Vermont Senate.
