Trump has betrayed Ukraine
If you want to top “alternate reality,” look no further than victim becomes perpetrator. Unfortunately, that has become quite the norm in our country. Taking it a step further, it now has reached international dimensions.
After a long telephone conversation between Mr. Trump and dictator Putin, suddenly the victim of the aggressor has been labelled the perpetrator. The U.S. has sold out Ukraine for 600,000 barrels of diesel, a ridiculous amount considering the need. And a so-called “deal” between the two sides was only approved of by one of the sides.
This side did not agree to stop its aggression. Russia is raining bombs on the cities of the Ukraine and killing civilians. Sure, Ukraine responds in kind with attacks on Russia’s infrastructure, since it never was even asked to enter or agree to a deal. The president of the country had not been informed or consulted.
In short, the United States is throwing a democratically voted country under the bus. And the diesel prices won’t get down significantly either in the near future.
