A reward for justice
Deep thanks to the Nobel Committee for awarding the 2026 Peace Prize to human rights lawyer Navanethem Pillay, rewarding her integrity, scholarship, and deep commitment to justice, peace, and the rule of law.
If presidents Netanyahu and Trump see this award as a rebuke to themselves, as they seem to do, it is only because they possess none of these attributes and, certainly, lack “the moral compass” the president of Israel invoked in a recent statement on the Nobel Committee.
