The Center for Safer Communities is here to help
I am writing in reference to the Sept. 24 article by Sofia Langlois, “Man dead in attempted murder-suicide.” At the conclusion of the article, readers were advised that help is available for those who don’t feel safe at home.
In addition to the resources listed, I’d like to make your readers aware that the Center for Safer Communities (formerly Turning Points Network) stands ready to assist survivors of domestic and sexual violence throughout Sullivan County in New Hampshire. The CSC has offices in Claremont and Newport. Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The crisis line is 1-800-639-3130. People can also visit cscnh.org for assistance.
