Charleston, SC – Sharon Lee Davis, 75, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.
Born and raised in Windsor, Vermont, Sharon developed an appreciation for hard work, beauty (of art/craftsmanship), and the wider world from an early age. Though she always held a special place in her heart for New England, she dreamed of seeing beyond its borders and embraced a life filled with travel and discovery.
Her career in healthcare administration and management provided opportunity to lead in hospitals and medical practices in New Hampshire, Maine, Michigan, Texas and South Carolina. She loved experiencing new communities but especially cherished Maine for its beauty and family heritage.
She loved traveling throughout the globe visiting countless countries and exploring art, culture, connecting with people and enjoying local cuisine and fine wine. She shared her passion for travel with her sons and grandchildren.
Above all else, Sharon loved her family and friends. She was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother, choosing to settle in Charleston, South Carolina to be near them. Her love and support were unwavering. Memories of countless laughs over dinners, days at the beach, adventures, cherished gifted Pooh Bears, trips to the aquarium, concerts and overnights with “Nonna” are a lasting gift.
Sharon will be remembered for her strength, quick wit and a wry sense of humor with a knowing smile.
“SLD” will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, Jason Davidson (spouse Noël) & Benjamin Davidson (spouse Leslie); her grandchildren, Evelyn Davidson, John (Jack) Davidson, Miles Davidson, Lyla Davidson & Nia Davidson; her brother, Lee Pudvah(spouse Crystal), sister in law, Phyllis Olson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many dear friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Evelyn Pudvah; brothers, Richard Olson & Gary Pudvah.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she is at peace and will forever cherish the memories, love and appreciation for the beautiful world and legacy she leaves behind.
A memorial will take place on Sunday, October 11 at the Windsor, VT Welcome Center, 3 Railroad Ave Windsor, VT 05089 from 12pm-2pm. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please support the World Wildlife Fund, as Sharon did for much of her life.
