Ticonderoga, NY – On September 17, 2026 Lydia Ann Brown Johnson of Ticonderoga, NY (formerly from Middlebury, VT) passed away peacefully.
Lydia was born on August 9, 1940 and the daughter of Charles and Marian (Rhoades) Brown.
Lydia was married to Wayne Johnson on August 30, 1958 at the home of her parents in Bethel, VT.
A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Lydia’s family was the center of her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Lydia is survived by Carl (Julia), Lisa (Mark) and Paul (Debra), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who will remember her with love. Lydia was predeceased by her husband, parents, siblings, granddaughter, and many other family members.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Sanderson Funeral Home in Middlebury, VT.
The funeral will be held on Thursday. September 24, 2026 at Middlebury United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m.
